Senor Frogs and Late Night Cancun at the Party Center

Sunday night, STS hosted their party at Senor Frogs, a well-known bar located all throughout the Caribbean. The entertainment is unreal. For its size, Senor Frogs surely packs a punch. First, the drinks are HUGE. We liked the margaritas and mojitos.

When you book your VIP Party Package with STS, our parties include open bar at different places every night. This works to your advantage, especially in bars like Senor Frogs where drinks are huge and in abundance.

We love our students!

After a night of dancing on stage, sliding down the water slide into the lagoon and massive frozen drinks, spring breakers may find themselves upstairs at Senor Frogs, where Piercing Point awaits you. That's right, there is a piercing shop located right to the top of the stairs where piercer, Tomas Navarro strategically places needles in the body parts of spring breakers from all over. In addition, there are tattoos available, both temporary and permanent...

One of our travelers from Canada- He got his fiance's name on his back (in Henna ink, of course).

Piercer, Tomas Navarro

One of our travelers wanted a nipple ring, so this guy paid for it, while we video taped...

After that, we had enough and ventured out into the streets to get a real feel of the Cancun nightlife. Just outside of Senor Frogs, was this taco stand which sold hamburgers, hot dogs and the best tacos you have ever had.

Fresh guacamole and hot sauce and other things to load up your late night munchies!

Isn't it past his bed time? He shouldn't be out selling bracelets at 1 am!

Booze Cruise!

STS's Booze Cruise is by far the most coveted of all Cancun Spring Break parties. Guests board the Caribbean Cabaret, a double decker boat, filled to the brim with all-you-can-drink beer or rum punches and then cruise for a half hour to the beautiful island of Isla Mujeres, the Island of Women.

Fernando, the official MC of this party, explains the rules, which include agreeing to whatever he asks of you, especially if you cannot understand him. "Remember, you are on vacation and nobody knows you, so what happens on board, stays on board!"

Once you have arrived on the tiny island, the booze continues to flow freely and an elaborate buffet is served of authentic Mexican cuisine, which includes beans and rice, salad and fajitas that are to die for.

mmmmmm

Reminds you of college, doesn't it?

After the late dinner, the drinking continues and every one flocks to the stage for some dancing and partying, STS-style.

Your bartenders have got your back

Bumping and Grinding!

After the dancing, Fernando herds every one to the sides of the stage for the wildest contests you have ever seen, guaranteed. Your standard Wet T-shirt contest has nothing on this loco fiesta.

Who wants to win prizes?

The crowd will decide who wins

This guy really got it in the Paddle Contest
Clothing Exchange! (Must wear EVERYthing)

After Shock!

And then there was the wet T-shirt contest....

Our staff members loved this!

The dancing continues, both on and off the island and on the way back to Cancun! STS hosted the after party at Senor Frogs, which included open bar, huge margaritas, more dancing, piercings and late night tacos... But more on that later...

Welcome to Cancun, Spring Breakers!

Now that STS has settled in to their rooms (which are extravagant in comparison to previous rooms), we are beginning to welcome our travellers!

Our Beautiful Room

STS's Cancun Staff (Katie, Nicky, Lauren, Brian and Mike) have welcomed many spring breakers today and yesterday and look forward to seeing more through out the week and weeks to come.

Lauren and Katie

Orientation is pretty straight forward. Use your common sense and you will be fine. No drugs, vandalism, fighting or public indecency, and you should be able to avoid Mexican jails, which feature dirt floors and a coffee can to do your business in. Needless to say, the resort is a much better place to be.

Last night, STS was headquartered at the infamous nightclub, The City, which holds over 4,000 people and will feature rap star, Flo Rida on Tuesday night. The light shows are incredible and STS posted up in our own VIP section, which included bottle service all night (i.e.- til the break of dawn).

If you aren't partying VIP-style with STS, this is the line you will wait in (for almost 2 hours). There is plenty to see out in the streets, from children pedaling bracelets to break dancers doing things that appear super natural. Take it all in as you make it to the club of our choice each night, because if you are with us, you will be in quicker than every one else with our VIP Express Entry.

Check him out!

Knight in Shining Armor?

Welcome to The City!

It is HUGE!

We are waiting outside the clubs for you! Come on in!

Our VIP is so cool, even the other travel companies want to be here...

STS VIP!

Trust me, you don't want to have to wait at the bar for drinks. There are 4,000 people in this club. If you want quick, strong drinks, you better purchase our VIP Party Packages and pour your own!

We LOVE Spring Break in Cancun!

Cancun in the Morning: The Calm Before the Storm

I woke up in paradise this morning. After a long day of packing, travelling and preparing for the unexpected, I settled in at about 2 this morning at the Grande Caribe Real in STS's Spring Break Headquarters: Cancun, Mexico.

At 7:30 a.m. this morning, I popped out of bed and headed to the beach, too excited to sleep and hoping to get a glimpse of the beach before the hungover college kids emerge. The view was incredible when my eyes peered over my new home for the next 2 weeks.

Unbelievable. It was perfectly windy this morning. Enough to allow me to adjust from the four feet of snow I was braving in Syracuse just a week ago. The weather in Baltimore isn't nearly that harsh, but I certainly will not be looking forward to the feeling of early spring when I get home. It feels like summer love here already.

The hotel that we are staying at is one that I had read about a million times before at STS, but without actually visiting it, the brochures can do it no justice. The 5-star Grand Caribe Real is situated in the heart of the infamous Hotel Zone and next to its sister resort, the Royal.

Early Morning in Cancun!

What a beautiful way to spend a Saturday morning. Today is full of orientations for new students coming in and although I am unsure as to where these next 2 weeks will take me, I am thrilled to start this journey.
